My EMspace was developed by the Emergency Preparedness Institute (EPI) and the Preparedness Coalition to foster collaboration and shared knowledge.

Because managing emergencies is a team effort, it's a field where relationships really matter. Who you know is as important as what you know.

My EMspace was created to help you connect with both what you need to know and whom you need to know. It's a place for you to meet, connect, collaborate and contribute to the global effort to better manage emergencies of every sort.

My EMspace is an online network of emergency professionals from around the world.

When you join My EMspace, you create a profile that indicates your professional interests and gives an overview of who you are, your background and training. Your profile helps you find and be found by peers, clients, potential employers, partners, and people in the community who want to collaborate with you or just ask your opinion or advise.

My EMspace is also a place for you to share insights, stay in touch with those you meet along your career, and keep track of important information and people you need to be effective at what you do.

If you are new to the Emergency community, it's a place to connect and come up to speed quickly on what's going on, who is doing what and to begin to develop the relationships you'll need to jump start your career.
